HI,

I have a RESTful service to evaluate. i am using SOAP UI Open Source edition to do this.

 

The service is HTTPS protocal enabled. based on different resources, i have added a configuration in vmoptions file as -Dsoapui.https.protocols=SSLv3,TLSv1,TLSv1.1,TLSv1.2, this is still not working. here i am attaching a error log information.

TestComplete - Sendmail using CDO object do not work when the email address contain uppercase letter

When the email address contain the uppercase letters it do no work 

 

For e.g. Ryan.Reynolds@ttu.edu is the email address- in the email address the first letter R is in uppercase. 

When we use the same email address in our testcomplete it do not send the email.

 

We are here using Outlook which is part of office365

 

If the email address contain all lowercase letter then it work.

 

Any idea why it happens ?

Zephyr Test details not loading and displays error as "104" in Zephyr Cloud

Facing an issue where the test details are loading after we create the any test. 

 

1. Create an Issue Type as "Test" and after creating view the test 

2. Test Steps are still loading under "Test Details" section and displayed with error as " 104 ......

How do I config log4j when I started mockServiceRunner.bat

Hi,

 

I use the command line to start the mock service with the command:

 

"C:\Program Files\SmartBear\SoapUI-5.5.0\bin\mockservicerunner.bat" E:\Workspace\ESISMOCK\ChannelServiceV1-13-19-soapui-project.xml -p 8091

 

But it writes the log files at the path that I executed the command line.

It doesn't read the configuration file from soapui-log4j.xml at the "C:\Program Files\SmartBear\SoapUI-5.5.0\bin\"

 

Question: How do I config/run the command line with log4j config?

Please see the attached file you will see the logs located at the executed folder.

How to Load Different Datasets into SwaggerUI?

Apologies if this was already asked, I'm having trouble finding a solution to this and new to Swagger. 

 

I am creating a SwaggUI documentation for various APIs. I want to populate them with examples to test the endpoints. We have different server environments that share the endpoints but require different data for parameters. In this example I am using (sample code only) the examples tag on all three parameters to give different values for qa and rnd servers. However it can be tedious to have to manually select qa for all 3 servers. I was wondering if there was a way to only use 1 dropdown box to set all the parameters to qa value or rnd value? I know theres arrays and dictionaries for swagger but haven't found how to load the array into the parameters.

Serialise `null-value` Swift4 JSONEncoding

Hi,

 

Language - Swift 4

 

I am using Swagger codegen to generate my request-response models, I actually came across a scenario where I need to pass null-value in my request JSON if the optional parameter is `nil` - which means i could not use the default encoding offered by `Codable` protocol, instead would need to add my own encode function to the request model's.

 

Is there a way to acheive this using swagger-codegen but still avoid manual modification on the generated models?

Dispatch multiple responses for one request

Hi Team,

 

I'm looking for a solution wherein for a single request multiple responses should be triggered, I know the usual implementation of dispatching a request based on a dedicated incoming request but the newest requirement given to me is that for a single request there should be around 10 responses dispatched to the same URL.

Hello Community Members,

 

I am trying to connect to RabbitMQ from ReadyAPI/SoapUI Pro v2.8,using AMQP plugin for SoapUI to send and receive messages for testing.

 

 

Problem is that in SoapUI I cannot set vhost name that is send to RabbitMQ, when using AMQP test steps.

It seems like default value “/” is used for vhost. Hence, AMQP exchanges in RabbitMQ located in other vhost’s are not found. 

 

 

Please tell if you know how to set vhost name in AMQP test steps in SoapUI.

 

Hope for solution without use of JMS.

On launching TestRunner in SOAP UI Pro, the previous testdata is getting executed.

Launched test runner at Testcase level but it is executing for old set of testdata always, My testdata sheet is updated with new data but it executes for old values.

 

Please let me know , if you have come across such issue.

Set Endpoint at the project level

I'm using SOAPUI 5.50. Currently I choose my Endpoint at the Test Step level. Since our software builds move from lower to higher test environments, I want to be able to switch from one environment to another using a property. Ideally I would control this at the Project level. Can this be done?

My app is VB6 and I started creating new project on TC14. For me too, it shows MappedName as blank.

 

Note: Its a fresh project and not the converted one from TC12.

I have some automated TC test unit/project I would like to link them to QAComplete, but I am not sure how to do that, Can someone tell me how to do that? I have have the test cases created in QAComplete, and they are automated in TestComplete, now I need to link them so that I can initiate/launch the automated test from QAComplete.

Merging non-version dependent files from 12 to 14

We are currently still running TestComplete 12 on our machines and are working on getting 14 ready to go. With upgrading to small builds, there wasn't many problems but we are wondering if we will encounter any issues when going to 14 as far as merging our code. Can we merge non-version dependent files from our prod TC12 to the new TC14 branch. 

 

Sorry if this doesn't make sense. Let me know if further clarification is needed.

could not import a definition from the specified file?

Hi Team,

I am trying to import a wsdl but getting an error "could not import a definition from the specified file". I have tried None, Manual and Automatic in proxy settings but unsuccessful. I am able to import the wsdl in SOAPUI and on browser but not with ReadyAPI Let me know how can we import the wsdl.

How to documente this array

Hi, 

 

I'm writing my API documentation to swagger.io and I have a problem. I don't know how to documente my array in yaml.

 

My array (it's JSON) :

	"api_ukey": "KYF210",

}

Explication: 

 

The array "answers" have 2 level :

- Level 1:  key "24" : correspond to "question_id" 

- Level 2: [35,37] : correspond to a list of answers

Logging Selenium Tests in ReadyAPI

I'm currently having the following problem:

 

I used ReadyAPI to make a testframework for testing backend. Now I made a Selenium Framework for testing the frontend.

I build a JAR from this Selenium framework so I could run these tests in the ReadyAPI framework.

 

I also put logging functionality in the Selenium framework (slf4j) that should generate a log file when the tests are run. This works when run seperately.
So far this doesn't happen when I'm running these tests from ReadyAPI.

 

Logging for the tests made in ReadyAPI is working fine.

 

So my question is:
The Selenium frontend tests run fine when run from the ReadyAPI framework, but there is no logging.
Does anyone have an idea how to solve this?

Error within dataloop stops the test though it is not required

Hello,

I have a test case with the following basic options set:

- Search properties

- Fail Test Case on Error

 

I have a DataSource Loop and one of the steps I have between the source and the loop sometimes fail.

If I set a testRunner.fail(msg) to track it, the test fails and stops => I don't understand this point as I didn't require the test to abort on failure

If I set only a log.error, the step fails, the test parses all the data but if the latest step is OK, the test is considered as sucessful, which is wrong.

 

I want the loop to be parsed completely regardless of failures so I can check which input data provokes a failure, but I also want to have a final status FAIL if one of the steps failed.

 

Is there any additional option that I shall handle to obtain this result ?
